Yaksta turns up the heat with ‘Bed Room’

Oct 16, 2026

Jamaican reggae and dancehall artiste Yaksta explores desire and late-night chemistry on his new single, Bed Room, which was released on Friday, October 2, through New League Music and distributed by VPAL Music.

Driven by smooth, contemporary dancehall production, Bed Room finds Yaksta delivering an unapologetically adult performance.

Direct lyrics, a melodic flow and a memorable refrain set the scene for a private encounter built around attraction, confidence and physical chemistry.

The single reveals another side of the St Mary native, who is known for motivational themes, cultural commentary and socially conscious storytelling. On Bed Room, Yaksta brings that same lyrical confidence to more mature subject matter, demonstrating his ability to move naturally between conscious reggae and modern dancehall.

Bed Room follows the June release of Yaksta’s 15-track sophomore album, The Microphone Saved Me, which explored themes of personal growth, gratitude, spirituality, perseverance and love.
